राजनीतिक विचारधारा: एक अध्ययन

विचार और विचारधारा का जन्म शून्य में नहीं होता है, उसका संबंध मानव तथा उसके सामाजिक परिवेश से होता है। मानव एक सामाजिक प्राणी होने के साथ-साथ विवेकशील प्राणी भी है। उसमें बुद्धि तत्व के साथ-साथ भावना तत्व भी होता है। उसकी अपने सामाजिक वातावरण में निरंतर अन्तःक्रिया होती रहती है। इसी अन्तःक्रिया के फलस्वरूप विचार एवं विचारधाराएँ जन्म लेती है। प्रमुख विचारक अपने विचारों को या तो स्वयं ही किसी विशेष विचारधारा का नाम दे देते हैं अथवा उनके अनुयायी उनके विचारों की विचारधारा का अवरण पहना देते हैं। जैसे महात्मा गांधी के सत्य, अहिंसा और नैतिक साधनों पर आधारित चिन्तन को उनके अनुयायियों ने गांधीवाद की संज्ञा दी तथा कार्ल माक्र्स के वर्ग संघर्ष और सामाजिक-आर्थिक न्याय पर आधारित चिन्तन को वैज्ञानिक समाजवाद या माक्र्सवाद का नाम दिया।
