Study of Trend and Direction of Indian Carpet before Covid19 Pandemic

Authors(2) :-Sanjay Kumar, Pradeep Kumar Singh

In conclusion, the analysis of Indian carpet exports to Europe, America, and other regions over the period from 1996 to 2022 highlights the complex interplay of factors that influence trade patterns. The disparities in import volumes, the upward trend in American imports, and the decreasing trend in European imports underscore the importance of understanding changing consumer preferences, market dynamics, and external influences. To navigate these shifts successfully, exporters must adapt strategies to address the evolving demands and preferences of each destination while leveraging India's rich heritage of carpet craftsmanship.
