मलिन बस्ती में निवास करने वाले बालक बालिकाओ की स्वच्छता संबंधी अभिवृत्ति का अध्ययन

प्रस्तुत अध्ययन का उद्देश्य मलिन बस्ती में निवास करने वाले बालक-बालिकाओं की स्वच्छता के प्रति अभिवृत्ति का अध्ययन करना था। इस अध्ययन में यह भी ज्ञात करने का प्रयास किया गया कि बालक एवं बालिकाओं की स्वच्छता के प्रति अभिवृत्ति में कोई अंतर पाया जाता है या नहीं। अध्ययन के लिए वर्णनात्मक सर्वेक्षण विधि का प्रयोग किया गया। अध्ययन का नमूना मलिन बस्ती में रहने वाले 90 बालक-बालिकाओं से चयनित किया गया। आंकड़ों के संकलन के लिए स्वच्छता के प्रति अभिवृत्ति मापने हेतु अभिवृत्ति मापनी का उपयोग किया गया। प्राप्त आंकड़ों के विश्लेषण से यह ज्ञात हुआ कि अधिकांश उत्तरदाताओं की स्वच्छता के प्रति अभिवृत्ति मध्यम स्तर की है। कुछ उत्तरदाताओं में सकारात्मक तथा अत्यधिक सकारात्मक अभिवृत्ति पाई गई, जबकि कुछ में अत्यंत नकारात्मक अभिवृत्ति भी देखी गई। लिंग के आधार पर विश्लेषण करने पर यह पाया गया कि बालिकाओं का माध्य स्कोर बालकों की अपेक्षा थोड़ा अधिक है, जिससे यह संकेत मिलता है कि स्वच्छता के प्रति बालिकाओं की अभिवृत्ति बालकों की तुलना में कुछ अधिक सकारात्मक है, हालांकि यह अंतर बहुत अधिक नहीं पाया गया। अतः अध्ययन से यह निष्कर्ष निकलता है कि मलिन बस्ती में रहने वाले बालक-बालिकाओं की स्वच्छता के प्रति अभिवृत्ति सामान्यतः मध्यम स्तर की है तथा इसे और अधिक सकारात्मक बनाने के लिए स्वच्छता संबंधी शिक्षा एवं जागरूकता कार्यक्रमों की आवश्यकता है।
